This page explains what TakeBoard collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your sign-in: your email address (from Google or the email link) so you can log in.
- Your profile: username, display name, bio, profile photo and banner, favorite teams and players. These are public.
- What you post and do: rankings, tier lists, debate takes, comments, replies, reactions, follows, blocks and reports. Posts, reactions and follows are public; blocks and reports are private.
- Alerts: if you turn on alerts, your browser gives us an address to send them to. We delete it when you turn alerts off or delete your account.
- Cookies: only to keep you signed in and remember settings like dark mode. No advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to run TakeBoard: show your takes, count community consensus, send the alerts you asked for, and keep the community safe. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Who else handles it
- Supabase stores the database, sign-ins and photos.
- Vercel hosts the app.
- Google, if you sign in with Google.
- Your browser or phone maker's push service delivers alerts.
Your choices
- Edit your profile or delete any post at any time.
- Turn alerts off on the Notifications page.
- Delete your account in Edit profile → Delete account. This removes your profile, posts, reactions, follows and photos for good.
Kids
TakeBoard is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
